Worldle's arrow trains you to think about which way one place lies from another. Rank It puts that sense of direction and scale into lists. A question asks which is farthest north, largest or most populous, five magnets show the candidates, and you drag them into order before thirty seconds are up.
Then the true values appear and the magnets slide into place. On the day's run you can see how everyone else ordered the same five. Many lists are geographic, and their surprises are the kind a Worldle player enjoys: places that lie much farther north or south than their reputation suggests.
There are five lists a day, the same for everyone. A magnet one slot out still earns some points. About two minutes, free on Gamefinity.
How to play Rank It
- Read the question and its fine print.
- Order the five magnets by dragging, or by tapping a magnet and then its slot.
- Lock in before the thirty-second timer rings.
- See the real values and how today's players ranked them.
- Play the rest of the day's five lists.
Rank It tips
- Europe is farther north than it feels, and some southern cities farther south.
- Fix the two ends first, then sort the middle.
- Check the convention, such as land area versus total area.
- The last list is a trap, so slow down.
Rank It questions
Are all the lists about geography?
No. Many are, but others cover foods, dates and science, each with its source on the card.
How is a list scored?
Each item in its true place earns 100 points and one place off earns 40; a perfect list scores double plus a time bonus.
Is it the same for everyone?
Yes, the day's five lists are shared by all players.
